Last November I had the best time ever photographing the Sheltons romantic mountain wedding day! This day was filled to the brim with romance and incredible memories were made. The location they picked was one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve ever been to and I was beyond excited to capture this wedding day. These two have such a timeless love story and when they look at each other everyone in the room can feel their deep connection. They’re the definition of soulmates, they’re truly each others best friends and I could see so clearly how excited they are to build a life together.
Starting off with the first look, his eyes lit up the second he saw her. I am so obsessed with how these portraits came out! They have this ethereal glow that is so captivating. The landscape that surrounded them added such depth and beauty to the photos, It felt unreal. Next, we moved to a field down below and took some more portraits of them together and separately. Their ceremony was simple but perfect, and as they exchanged their handwritten vows everyone got teary-eyed.
Finally, it was time for the reception! Everyone was having such a good time sharing stories and dancing the night away! During the reception the newlyweds snuck away for a few more photos. We were on this staircase that was dimly lit and it was such a sultry and romantic vibe. Overall, it was a magical day filled with so many incredible moments. I’m so deeply honored they trusted me to capture their dreamy, romantic wedding day. I hope they cherish these photos for years to come and never forget the memories they made on their wedding day.
