As a Denver-based wedding photographer, I was SO excited to have the opportunity to photograph this Golden, CO wedding at the Buffalo Rose event center. This beautiful mountain town has everything for a stunning wedding: gorgeous views, lush nature, and charming mountain charm. It’s such a small town but it’s truly one of the most gorgeous and interesting towns I’ve ever been to. I jumped at thee chance to be apart of this incredibly special day for the Segals! These two people are so deeply and madly in love with each other, it was amazing to witness this union.
Firstly, I started with some detailed shots of the accessories, the bride getting ready, the decorations, and a sneak peek out the window of the beautiful town sign. Everything was so aesthetic and beautiful, you could immediately tell that there was so much thought put into this wedding. During the first look, the bride and groom read these beautiful and emotional letters they had written to each other which I thought was such a wonderful idea. After that, I snapped some group photos of the couple with their wedding parties. Next, I snuck away with the bride and groom to capture some shots of just the two of them. I absolutely love how these came out, and I think they really captured their personality’s.
Finally, it was time for the ceremony which was full of joy and emotion. It was simply stunning! After that, it was time to party at the reception. And let me tell you, these people know how to throw a party! Everyone had the time of their lives celebrating these two people. Some of my favorite shots are when the bride and groom snuck off and did the garter toss, just the two of them! I loved getting to capture every little moment and had so much fun doing it. I’m so honored that they trusted me to photograph their wedding and trusted me with their vision. I truly hope they cherish these photos but more importantly the memories they made.
