Colorado Springs Wedding

Last November I had the honor of capturing this beautiful Colorado Springs wedding for the Shanks! It was held at the Venetucci Farm, and it was absolutely stunning. The details were incredibly thought out, and the overall feeling was just pure magic. Darlene and Erik’s love for each other was so clear and stunning to witness. I loved capturing every single moment because every second felt so special!

First, I captured some detail shots, I thought the flowers she chose were so perfect. Then the couple had a “first touch”, this is where they stand back-to-back and are able to talk but they can’t see each other quite yet. I love this because I feel like it builds up even more anticipation for the first moment they see each other in the aisle. And when they did see each other, let me tell you…the room was filled with tears! It was a stunning and emotional ceremony, everyone could feel the intense emotions they had for each other. After the ceremony, I got some breathtaking portraits of the newlyweds outside! I love the way these came out so much, and this couple was so much fun to photograph.

Overall, it was an incredibly gorgeous wedding. Everything was so well planned out, and I was overwhelmed by how beautiful the day was. I’m so honored I got to be a part of their special day and capture their Colorado Springs wedding. It was pure magic! I hope the Shanks look back on these photos for many years to come and cherish this special day. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Shanks!
