I recently traveled from Colorado to Chicago, Illinois, for Connie and Jason’s Timeless Wedding Day. Upon arrival at the venue, I started photographing their wedding details and decorations, which were simple yet elegant. The venue had a charming atmosphere that perfectly matched their theme. Capturing these moments right from the start set a wonderful tone for the day. I love shooting wedding flat lays because they capture the vibe and story of the day. They are always a great way to showcase the couple’s personal touches and style.
Connie and Jason opted for an intimate first look before the ceremony. I enjoy first looks because of the excitement and nerves of seeing each other dressed up for the first time. The raw emotions and genuine reactions are always priceless. This moment was no exception, filled with joy and anticipation. They also had bride and groom portraits before the ceremony, aiming for a candid and documentary style. We took photos outside the venue, which resembled a beautiful garden, and then moved inside for more shots that looked like scenes from a romantic movie. The changing settings added a dynamic element to their photo collection.
The ceremony, surrounded by close friends and family, was full of intimate moments. The heartfelt vows and happy tears made it truly special. Every guest’s presence added warmth and meaning to the celebration. To wrap up their special day, Connie and Jason enjoyed dancing, cake, and lots of love.
